One lucky fan went home $255 richer after the GameDay 50/50 draw at the River Rats’ home opener on October 31, a bigger pot than usual.
The 50/50 runs at every River Rats home game. Half the pot goes to the winner and the other half goes straight back to the club, so Saturday’s draw put another $255 toward the team as well. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets at the gate and in the stands.
How it works: tickets are 2 for $5, 5 for $10 or 15 for $20. Buy them at the gate on your way in, or from one of our reps working the stands through the first and second periods. The winning ticket is drawn during the second intermission and announced at the start of the third, and the winner collects their half of the pot at the gate.
The more tickets sold, the bigger the pot grows. The next draw is at the next home game: Saturday, November 21 against the Emerald Park Wizards, 7:45 PM at Doug Wickenheiser Arena.
